1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of vehicle sourcing and export services provided by Japan Auto Concierge “Akita Group LLC” (“the Company”).

2. Services

We provide:

  • Vehicle sourcing (auctions, dealers)
  • Purchase assistance
  • Export documentation and processing
  • Shipping and logistics arrangements

3. Contract Formation

A contract is formed when the customer confirms an order and the Company accepts it.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Final pricing is determined based on the auction result (final bid price) together with the previously provided quotation, which includes estimated fees, transportation, and related costs.
  • The quotation serves as a transparent estimate of total expenses; however, the final amount may vary depending on the successful bid price and any additional services requested.
  • Payment must be made via bank transfer or other approved methods. Services will commence only after payment has been confirmed.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • No cancellation after vehicle purchase
  • Auction bids may incur penalties if canceled
  • Service fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds may be considered only for unperformed services

6. Shipping and Export Risks

  • The Company is not liable for damage, delay, or loss during shipping
  • Responsibility lies with shipping carriers
  • Delays due to customs, ports, or force majeure are not the Company’s responsibility

7. Vehicle Condition

  • Japanese auction inspection reports are conducted by trained professionals and are widely regarded as highly accurate. These reports and grading systems provide a reliable indication of each vehicle’s condition.
  • However, as vehicles are pre-owned, all inspection reports and auction information are provided for reference purposes and do not constitute a guarantee.
  • To provide additional confidence, customers may request a detailed independent inspection prior to bidding for an additional fee.

8. Import Regulations

  • Customers are responsible for verifying import laws in their country
  • The Company is not liable for import refusal or registration issues

9. Limitation of Liability

We are committed to providing a transparent and reliable service and will make reasonable efforts to support customers in resolving any issues that may arise.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability shall be limited to the amount of service fees paid by the customer.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Japanese law, and disputes shall be subject to Japanese courts.

Export Disclaimer

  • Vehicles are sold strictly “as-is”
  • The Company is not responsible for damage, delay, or loss during shipping
  • Customs delays and regulatory changes are outside Company control
  • Shipping costs and exchange rates may fluctuate
  • No compensation applies if insurance is not purchased

Refund Policy

  • Service fees are non-refundable
  • No refunds after vehicle purchase
  • Partial refunds may apply only to unperformed services
